We are happy to share our first issue with you! Whole-COMM’s newsletter will keep you updated on the research throughout the project’s unfolding once every three months.

In this first issue you can read about the key activities of the project. The project kicked off with a three-session event between March and April 2021 with the participation of the members of the Consortium and the Advisory Board, as well as representatives from the European Commission. In the following months, the team based in Torino has worked on defining the theoretical framework and methodology of the project, and produced the first Whole-COMM working paper and the first Whole-COMM blog post which provide some highlights about this initial stage of the project. All partners have been involved in a rigorous and theory-oriented case selection process, which led us to choose 49 case-localities across our 10 case countries. Fieldwork in these localities started in September 2021.⠀
